Annual Award recognizes volunteer contributions to association and industry
DALLAS – In recognition of volunteer excellence, the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) presented the annual Evelyn Ireland Volunteer Award to Carol Egan, Renaissance Life and Health Insurance, during the CONVERGE 2019 General Session Sept.18 in Orlando, Florida. The NADP Evelyn Ireland Volunteer Award recognizes volunteer contributions necessary for the association to accomplish its mission to promote and advance the dental benefits industry and improve consumer access to affordable, quality dental care.
The NADP Communications WorkGroup recognized Egan for her leadership, creativity and insightful feedback on multiple communications project teams
Carol Egan is the vice president of Consumer Strategy at Renaissance Life and Health Insurance in Indianapolis. With more than 25 years in the insurance industry, Carol’s expertise is in product development and marketing. Prior to joining Renaissance, she was the senior vice president of Marketing and Product at Life & Specialty Ventures, a life insurance subsidiary of several independent Blue Cross Blue Shield companies. Carol served in multiple leadership roles at Trustmark Insurance including New Business Development, Corporate Marketing and product and marketing for the worksite division. Carol’s first dental insurance experience was at First Commonwealth, initially a dental HMO out of Chicago that was acquired by Guardian. Carol is a graduate of Bradley University with a degree in Mathematics.

We value and appreciate their contributions, and we are pleased to recognize and honor these outstanding individuals.”
